Sanjay Sethi is the Co-Founder and CEO at ShopClues. He is highly regarded in the industry as a product visionary and a marketplace expert with proficiency in building multifaceted environments in the field of e-commerce. As the Co-Founder of the company, Sanjay aims to deliver a pleasurable shopping experience for consumers through the advanced and user-friendly online platform.
Sanjay is an alumnus of Banaras Hindu University, with a strong foundation in Engineering. He further went on to the prestigious Indian Institute of Technology (Delhi) to study and work with Software Technology. He was awarded the CEO of the Year by CMO Asia Awards, 2016.
He has enjoyed a fruitful career of over 20 years in the internet product space, including e-commerce marketplaces, online payments, operations and trade logistics.
Since his appointment as the CEO of ShopClues, along with Radhika Ghai, Co-Founder and CBO, Shopclues, Sanjay has led ShopClues to become a Unicorn and a marketplace that has over 28 million listed products and 6,00,000+ merchants; aiming to provide the best online shopping experience for Bharat – Where the real India shops.
Sanjay has been felicitated with a number of awards and honours for his entrepreneurial achievements such as the Distinguished Alumni Award at the IIT-BHU Alumni Excellence Awards Ceremony. He has also held the CEO of the Year award with Radhika Ghai at CEO Awards 2016.

Sanjay’s role involves providing necessary tools and processes essential to produce and operate an efficient online marketplace. Before co-founding India’s first and now largest managed marketplace, Sanjay served as the Global Product Head for Shipping & Logistics, Payments & Billing at eBay Inc. in Silicon Valley. He has also worked with other reputed companies including IIS Infotech, HCL Perot Systems, Tradebeam and Steel Authority of India Limited.Go Back
